NASA Centres:
- NASA Glenn Research Center, including joint Projects and 2 LEO space flights experiments in MISSE at ISS under the umbrella of Space Materials Department a of GRC
- NASA Marshall Space Flight Center – Testing, comparative evaluation and joint publications of the atomic oxygen protective technologies, developed at ITL and used on space paints and thermal control polymers – results of joint research studies
- Universities and Institutes: Montana State University (USA); Koba State University (Japan), Harbin Institute of Technology – joint research studies in space materials protection from aggressive space environments and ground-based LEO and GEO simulated environmental testing
- European Space Agency (ESA) – CNES, ONERA, and ESTEC – Collaboration in the preparation and successful performance of a number of professional Conferences and on Space materials durability comparative evaluation and enhancement in LEO and GEO space environments
- Russia – Space Companies and Institutions: NPO Komposit (Korolev city, Moscow refin), Scobeltsyn Nuclear Physics Research Institute (Moscow), The Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center – long-time collaboration in various aspects of space materials new developments, testing and comparative evaluation
- China – ITL worked through the years with a number of high education institutions in China like the Harbin Institute of Technology, Lanzhou Institute of Physics, the Beijing Institute of Satellite Environment Engineering (BISEE) and others on different aspects of interaction of space environmental factors with different materials. ITL and BISEE jointly prepared and conducted a very successful in 2014 in Lijiang, China the ICPMSE-11 meeting, in the series of ICPMSE meeting initiated by ITL in 1992.
